― Henry David Thoreau
Hits the water
Glass is broken
Now, talking about being were Thoreau was, didn't mean much to me. I have been to Walden so many times, this walk is something I do often so being where Thoreau was, didn't make this trip special. To me this trip was more about the scenery, and thinking, a lot. Though, I did find going into Thoreau's cabin (even thought it was a replica) very cool. His cabin didn't seem to small, or too big, but it was just right (this sounds a lot like Goldilocks and The Three Bears) to live in. I like his cabin, it had enough room and I thought the iron stove he had was cool. Overall, I understand better how he was able to live in his cabin for two years. I think Thoreau chose Walden mostly for the scenery, since like we saw while there, it can be very pretty during the fall with it's crystal clear water and it countless tree's full of color.
Overall, I had a great time on the trip, because there was so much to take in while there and it was nice to get away from school and walk around Walden and think about our own thoughts and reflect. This was a great trip for me, and I hope it was great for you too.
